Kirsten Hurley is an autism consultant, lecturer and speaker.
Like many girls and women with autism she was only diagnosed with autism as a young adult. Since her diagnosis in 2010, Kirsten has conducted research into autism and the experiences of autistic people. She has also supported others on the spectrum since her own diagnosis (in both a paid and voluntary capacity).
She led the team that developed the Diploma in Autism Studies and the online Certificate in Autism Studies in University College Cork and continues to lecture both in person and online on various topics around autism. She is currently working full-time on a three year project to make University College Cork an ‘autism-friendly’ university.
*Due to her current workload, Kirsten is currently unavailable for private consultation .
